Use a responsive Blogger theme, copy your blog address (yourblog.blogspot.com or custom domain) into a URL to APK maker, give it a name and icon, and build. Readers install the APK — or find you on Google Play — and see new posts as soon as you hit Publish.

Prepare the blog
Most of the work happens in Blogger before you build anything.
- Use a responsive theme. Contempo, Soho, Emporio and Notable adapt to phone screens. Older themes serve a separate mobile version.
- Mobile view setting. In Theme → Customize → Mobile settings (older themes) Blogger may add
?m=1to URLs for phones. With a responsive theme, choose Desktop so the app shows your real design. - HTTPS on. Settings → HTTPS redirect should be on. Android blocks plain HTTP pages in apps by default.
- Fast home page. Limit the number of posts on the main page (8–10) — it's the first thing the app loads.
Build the app
- Copy the blog addressOpen your blog, copy the address bar —
https://yourblog.blogspot.com/or your custom domain. - Paste it into Website to APKName the app after the blog. Use your blog's logo, square, at least 512 px.
- Choose a theme colourMatch your header so the status bar blends in.
- Build and installOpen a few posts, go Back, rotate the phone, try search and labels.
Comments, sign-in and AdSense
Two Blogger features need a decision before you publish the app:
| Feature | What happens | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Blogger comments | Commenting asks for a Google sign-in. Google refuses sign-in inside embedded WebViews (error disallowed_useragent). | Allow anonymous / name-URL comments, or let the app open sign-in in the browser. |
| AdSense ads | AdSense for web is not meant to be shown inside apps; Google's policy wants AdMob for app inventory. | Remove AdSense from the app (theme condition) or accept the risk only for sideloaded APKs. |
| Follow by email / Feedburner | Works as a web form | Nothing |
Ideas that make a blog app worth installing
- Push notifications for each new post (available in the maker's Pro options).
- A pinned "Start here" page linked from the app's home screen.
- A downloadable resource or printable that only app readers get.
Google Play rejects apps whose only purpose is to show a website you don't own, and it looks harder at apps that add nothing over the browser. Publishing your own site is fine; give reviewers a reason to install — a members area, a tool, offline content or notifications — and use your own name and icon.
Questions people ask
Is it free to turn a Blogger blog into an app?
Yes. Blogger hosting is free and the Website to APK app builds a signed APK without charge.
Will new Blogger posts show in the app?
Immediately. The app loads your live blog, so there's nothing to rebuild when you publish.
Why does my Blogger app show the mobile version?
Your theme is set to serve a separate mobile template. Switch to a responsive theme and set Mobile settings to Desktop.
